Wrath of InsudiaTM Announcement/News

This forum is here to insure you get help, but we have got rules and regulations to keep you all safe from harm and upsetting other people. (This will not be tolerated).

Topic titles: When you post your question or your problem, you must use a title related to your problem/question. Words such as "Urgent", "SOS", "Question", "Problem", "Hurry" are not tolerated. Capitals should also be avoided. Why do we ask you to use explicit titles in your topics ?
Because the forum's search engine bases it's search results on keywords found in topic titles

When you do a search, do you use "help", "urgent", "problem", "SOS" or "question" as keywords to look for topics about your problem/question?

Certainly not! So this is why it is important to use titles related to your problem/question. Doing this makes the searches much easier for visitors who use the search engine to get an answer to their question.

Description of you problem/question: When you ask a question, try to be clear and accurate about what you want to say. Don't hesitate to describe your problem. The more info you give, the better we can answer you.

Language on this forum: When you write in English, SMS (cell phone) style message, L3375P34K (leetspeak) and deliberate mistakes must be avoided. Non-English people, as well as English people, must be able to understand what you write, so put a minimum of care in your English, even if your English is not very good.

Colors and capitals and size: When you write your message, please don't abuse capitals (it means that you shout), colors and bold. Re-sizing your text is also a bad idea. Overly large text resembles screaming. Colors and Bold text are reserved for moderation, therefore don't use them.

Flood and off-topic: Flood must be avoided. One-word posts such like "lol", "rofl" or a single smiley must be avoided.
You must also avoid to post the same topic twice, it will not be faster for you to get a response.
As long as you topic is not in the second page of the support section, it is useless to bump it. The minimum delay between two bumps is 24 hours, according to this board's default timezone (UTC - 7).
If you make a mistake or you want to make any modifications to one of your posts, please use the General Rules. Editer15 to avoid double-posting.

Helping Users: If you know the answer to a question that a user asked and don't want to share it with other in your post, please refrain from posting. It doesn't help anyone of the board. This forum is a support forum to help users with questions or problems they have. If you continue to post you know answer or something similar to this line, but don't provide the answer you will be given three reminders and then a warning.

Defamatory, racist, hateful, pornographic, illegal or insulting content must be avoided on this forum. You must respect the fact that people may have a different opinion than you. If you are in conflict with another member, please use PMs for that, this forum is not an arena!

Please, be patient. It's useless to bumup your topic every 2 minutes (see the point "Flood and Off-topic"). Every member of this forum has a private life besides Forumotion, so they can't always respond immediately

You must respect the moderators and administrators. They all work voluntarily on this forum and they are human, not machines!

If you received advertising, pornographic content or insults by PM, you must send the whole message and a screenshot of that message to a moderator via PM. Posting it in a topic is useless and will only cause conflicts between you and the one who sent you the PM

If you find a Forumotion forum that doesn't respect the Terms of Service, use the Litigation tool to report it instead of creating a topic. This way you will avoid undeliberate advertising and possible conflicts with the creator of that forum

If you don't find your topic, it may have been moved to a more appropriate place. If you are not sure how to find it, click on your username in the "Who is Online ?" section at the bottom of the homepage and go to the "Statistics" tab of your profile. There you can do a quick search of all the posts or topics you recently made.

Do not moderate other members. Moderating is reserved for staff members only.

Terms of Service - http://internationalsoftware.weebly.com/terms-of-agreements.html

Avatar dimensions: Your avatar's width must not exceed 150 pixels and it's height must not exceed 200 pixels. These limits are here to avoid scrolling for people who have a low screen resolution. You must also respect the limit of storage space which is set at 300 KB. There are still people who have a low-speed connection, and big pictures take time to load for them

Your avatar is not an advertising banner, so avatars with your forum URL or links to any other sites must be avoided

Sexually oriented, gore and any other type avatars that are considered to be inappropriate must be avoided

Your "Language", "Location" and "Hobbies" fields are not an advertising space, so links (to your forum or other sites) must be avoided.

Do not post in all capital letters, use excessive punctuation, etc.

This practice is used to draw attention to ones post. While everyone wants their posts read, we ask that you refrain from using sensational tactics in order to bring more people to your thread. Let your post stand on its own merit.

Using the words Staff, Purple, or any community team members name in a thread topic is frowned on.

Everyone would like International Software to read and acknowledge his or her post, and we understand that. However, use of such words in the topic does not help that come to pass. Please make your thread title relevant to the post subject.

Posting IBL, IBTL, or its variants constitutes spamming.

We appreciate that our posters understand the Code of Conduct to the point where they can call whether or not a thread is in violation; however, saying in before the lock does not contribute to a constructive community and it does fall under spamming. If you wish to acknowledge a post that violates policy, please report it instead.

Posting TLDR or L2P constitutes as trolling

Posting TLDR (Too Long, Didn’t Read) is saying you don’t care about a player’s post. Posting L2P (Learn to Play) mocks the player for their skill or experience level rather than provide constructive input on the post itself. Both are considered trolling and will lead to a suspension.

Do not bump posts.

The act of bumping ones post is considered spamming and contributes nothing constructive to the discussion. Your thread will be seen and answered wherever possible; there is no need to continually bump it to the top of the list.

Petition posts are frowned on.

This is a discussion forum. Petition threads do not contain much discussion instead, a petition is usually page after page of /signed. This is not constructive. If you have an issue with the game, please discuss it in a civil fashion. There are other places on the Internet to form online petitions.

Multiple threads on the same topic will be deleted

When multiple threads cover the same topic we will typically leave one of them open, lock one with an explanation, and delete the rest. This is done to allow other topics to still have a place on the forums. Which thread is left open typically depends on the thread length and how constructive the first post and the thread in general are.

Do not post about locked or deleted threads.

Posts that are moderated have a reason behind the moderation. It's up to you to read the forum code of conduct and these guidelines to determine what you did wrong, learn from your mistake, and attempt to post again without breaking any rules.

Suspensions add up

Repeated suspensions or multiple violations of the forum guidelines at the same time will add up and lead to a longer suspension than otherwise may be given for a single incident. When suspensions differ for the same Code of Conduct violation, suspension history is usually the reason.

If you have a post to report, use the down thumb next to the post. Should you wish to report a post for a sticky, please use the "Vote Sticky" at the top right of the thread.

Please do not post linking to threads you feel should be moderated or stickied. By using the methods we have in place, we can moderate more efficiently.

Do not "Name and Shame" when posting the forums

If you have a grievance with a player in-game, please do not identify the player by name here on the forums. While we do appreciate that in most cases violations of this rule are legitimate attempts to warn the community of dishonourable behaviour from individuals, allowing players to post potentially harmful statements about other players is open to abuse, and is therefore not allowed. This rule applies to screenshots as well as direct naming.

Please note that this rule exists to prevent innocent players from being wrongfully accused. As this rule can also potentially protect players who are guilty.
